What to Give

Gifts of Cash

A gift of cash is the most common way to support a church or ministry and results in an immediate benefit to them. Many already give cash as a tithe or offering to their church on a weekly basis.

Gifts of Stocks and Bonds

Donating appreciated securities, including stocks or bonds, is an easy and tax-effective way for you to make a gift to the ministry of your choice.

Gifts of Real Estate

Appreciated real estate, such as a home, vacation property, undeveloped land, farmland or ranch land, or commercial property, can make a great gift toyour favorite ministry or missions project.

Gifts of Retirement Assets

Unused retirement assets from an IRA, 401(k), 403(b), or pension make one of the best gifts to charity because they are taxed significantly more when left to family, compared to other assets like cash or real estate.

Gifts of Insurance

If you have a life insurance policy that has outlasted its original purpose (providing for a spouse or dependent children), consider making it a gift to ministry instead of losing the value you have paid into the asset.
