Rebecca began working at the Foundation in January 2020, after serving bivocationally in communications for the USA/Canada Regional Office of the Church of the Nazarene and at Shawnee Church of the Nazarene as the associate pastor of worship arts.
Rebecca grew up as a Nazarene pastor's kid in beautiful San Diego, California. The oldest of three, she adventured far from home for college, finding her place at Olivet Nazarene University in the Chicago area. While earning her B.A. in Intercultural Studies, she participated in several campus ministries, as well as the university public relations travel teams that ministered at churches and camps throughout the Olivet region.
After remaining at Olivet two more years to complete a M.A. in Religion, Rebecca returned home to California to serve as worship pastor at Ridgeview Community Church of the Nazarene. During her ministry at Ridgeview, God called her to continue her ministerial education at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City. Since moving to Kansas City in 2017, Rebecca has enjoyed serving her local church and working for Global Missions and the USA/Canada Regional Office within the Church of the Nazarene's Global Ministry Center. She is passionate about continuing the ministry of the Church of the Nazarene.
Rebecca is engaged to Josh Rinker, and they joyfully anticipate being married June 27, 2020. Rebecca's favorite things in life are spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends, making music, gardening, and anything that will let her spend time outside in the sunshine.
